This piece won a commended award in 2009
for the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council
Awards, held at Goldsmiths' Hall London.
Made in 18ct gold with platinum vine leaves
inlaid around the curves of gold, It is hand
made from a wax carving using the
lost wax process.

Each platinum leaf was fashioned
by hand and mirrors of platinum line
the setting area to enhance the
diamond's fire and brilliance.

The diamond is triangular in shape and
weighs 1.25ct.
It is certified Colour E. Clarity VS1

The inspiration for this piece stems from
Robin's love of nature and especially
Tree Root Systems - the ring reflects this
in the fact it has no begining or end.

Such a design can only be made using the
lost wax process.
Robin's ability as an artist means he makes
bespoke items by hand, without the aid
of computer designed waxes.

He is very much a traditional
artisan, a skill not often seen today.
